Suggestian for a new pedestrian bridge in wood over moat in Gothenburg

To activate new urban flows in central Gothenburg, Chalmers School of Architecture together with the city asked students to hand in suggestions on how such a crossing could work. Together with two other students I had a few nights of interesting model workshops that led to the suggestion above.

Apartment Hemmendorff soon done!

Private client Olle Hemmendorff contacted me to do his 65m2 apartment in the central of Södermalm in Stockholm. Focus was on the rather small kitchen where Olle wanted more space to socialize and a more compact solution for the cabinets. On top of this he wished for his stove to be integrated in to the kitchen table, making it a full working height. This project will be under projects within the near future!

KONSTFACK OOUTDOOR CAFE 18 MONTHS OLD.

After one and a half year in the outdoor climate the pine has recieved a silver surface and really shimmers in the sun. A couple of tags decorates the surface, a student has carved his initials. I’m looking forward to what another nordic winter and a new vintage of art students will do to the surface.NEWS! You will be able to see the developed bench at this years furniture fair under the wings of a reknown furniture producer, more info later…

THE HOUSE BUILDING CONTINUES! (without me)
The summer has comed to an end and this is how the house (or the wood temple as we call it) looks when I leave it. At least it is isolated now and the windows are all in. I can leave dad with a stack of drawings of interiors and the comfort to know that at least he is warm while building them! I must say that building a house for your family has been the best experience I’ve ever had. But what about when it’s finished? I just want to build the next one and the next one and the next one…
The Bottom image is me and dad eating the first dinner on the spot where many meals will be eaten in the future.

BACHELOR PROJECT REWARDED AND EXHIBITED IN NEW YORK!

My bachelor work together with Kristoffer Fagerstrom is rewarded with “Best Student Work” in I.D Annual Design Review. We are very happy about this and thank the jury for selectecting our work with the Konstfack outdoor Café and the furniture concept FRAME.
Words from the Jury:
“It shows that with a very simple set of materials—and without changing them much—you can create this playful, optimistic situation.” –Judge Manuel Miranda
About the Award:
Since 1954, the Annual Design Review has recognized the best in product, furniture, graphic, and environment design, from the iconic to the obscure. Throughout the years, this annual showcase has chronicled the evolution of design, and highlighted its impact on our material and visual culture. Each year, the featured work is chosen by a jury of leading practitioners, who, along with I.D.’s editorial team, focus the abundance of submissions into a clear survey of the state of design. The resulting overview is published in the July/August issue of I.D. magazine — the Annual Design Review issue.EXHIBITION!
